’10 Bleakest Cities of 2015′ to Receive Lowe’s Makeovers
This winter has been one of the harshest on record and for many communities, the first day of spring will still be covered in snow. No city has been more impacted than Boston as residents experienced one of the snowiest winters in recorded history. This week, Lowe’s Heroes employee volunteers kicked off the spring season by removing snow and brightening spirits at Boston’s Leahy-Holloran Community Center, where Lowe’s and Rebuilding Together installed a playground last year. Lowe’s Heroes spent Monday digging the playground out of the more than a foot of snow and ice that accumulated this winter. The team will be back in Boston to complete a spring makeover project once the ground has thawed. See the full release to learn more.
