Jan. 16, 2015: NASA, NOAA Find 2014 Warmest Year in Modern Record
The year 2014 ranks as Earth’s warmest since 1880, according to two separate analyses by NASA and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) scientists. The 10 warmest years in the instrumental record, with the exception of 1998, have now occurred since 2000. This trend continues a long-term warming of the planet, according to an analysis of surface temperature measurements by scientists at NASA’s Goddard Institute of Space Studies (GISS) in New York. Feb. 18, 2015: Original Unpublished Dr. Seuss Manuscript and Additional Work Found in Author’s Home
An original manuscript with accompanying sketches by Dr. Seuss, aka Ted Geisel, was discovered in the La Jolla, Calif. home of the late beloved children’s author. It was published by Random House Children’s Books on July 28. A box filled with pages of text and sketches was found shortly after Ted’s death in 1991 when his widow Audrey Geisel was remodeling her home. At that time it was set aside with other of Ted’s materials. It was rediscovered in the fall of 2013 by Mrs. Geisel and Claudia Prescott—Ted Geisel’s longtime secretary and friend—when they were cleaning out his office space. April 20, 2015: Cirque du Soleil Finds New Strategic Majority Partner in TPG-Led Investor Group
Cirque du Soleil announced on April 20 an agreement under which TPG, a global private investment firm, will acquire a majority stake in Cirque du Soleil to fuel growth and take Cirque’s iconic blue and yellow big top to exciting new markets. Cirque du Soleil’s founder, Guy Laliberté, will maintain a stake in the business and will continue to provide strategic and creative input to the company. Fosun, one of China’s leading privately owned investment groups, will acquire a minority stake in Cirque du Soleil via a fund under its management, and together the firms will work with the company to launch and expand in China. May 1, 2015: MDA Telethon Ends Historic Run, Urgent Fight for Families Continues

Frequently teaming up on transgender cases, Dr. Alter disclosed that he performed the body work and Dr. Lee performed the facial feminization on Jenner. Neither plastic surgeon would comment on the exact procedures performed.
