GOP Convention, Day 1: Lay of the Land
The PR Newswire team is on site at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland.
Audience relations managers Christine Cube and Anna Jasinski were busy, scoping out the media center to make sure journalists and bloggers at the Cleveland Convention Center were connected with the official convention newsfeed.
If you’re looking for news copy from the GOP Convention — and/or would like to receive copy next week during the Democratic National Convention — you can sign up here.
The first day of the convention was exactly as expected — a lot of moving around to get our bearings and a few Monday bumps. Beyond that, we took lots of photos and continued with the work of signing up members of the media for the convention feed.
Today, we’re at the Media Center Garage, aka Media Row, by the Quicken Loans Arena and already we’ve got great material for tomorrow’s wrap up.
Enjoy the behind-the-scenes photos. Type to you tomorrow.
