Talk about an inspiring Day 3.

The PR Newswire team was immersed in the Democratic National Convention activity at the Wells Fargo Center.

Team members Christine Cube and Anna Jasinski with the audience relations team and Jean Arnold and Wendy Minter with customer content services (CCS) group each had a job to do.

Audience relations’s Cube and Jasinski continued to work with journalists and members of the media to get them signed up for the official convention newsfeed, in addition to answering related questions. The duo also attended a lunchtime panel, moderated by Wall Street Journal’s Editor-in-Chief Gerard Baker and Washington Bureau Chief Gerald F. Seib. WSJ spoke to Robby Mook, campaign manager for Hillary For America on the convention’s progress and general election campaign to come.

Meanwhile, CCS’s Arnold and Minter managed the distribution of content from the Democratic National Convention Committee, with the help of several CCS team members in the Washington, DC office.

It’s been all hands on deck for nearly two weeks — between Cleveland and Philadelphia — and the PR Newswire team is beginning to conclude its work at and around the political conventions.

The team spent a good bit of time in the arena, taking in the evening’s speeches, including headliners Former Director of the Central Intelligence Agency Leon Panetta, Vice Presidential Nominee Tim Kaine, Vice President Joe Biden, and President Barack Obama. Jasinski also has been live-tweeting over @PRNPolicy. (You also can follow anna.jasinski on Snapchat for an insider look at the DNC.)

During his speech, Obama addressed convention attendees, who were unhappy with Republican Presidential Nominee Donald Trump.

Obama said, simply: “Don’t boo. Vote.”

While it’s the last day of the Democratic National Convention, PR Newswire continues to distribute political campaign and election news. Stay plugged in and catch these breaking news releases through November.
