Blog Profiles: Beach Blogs

Welcome to Blog Profiles! Each week, we select a topic and handful of blogs that do a great job contributing to the conversation. We’re feeling those summer vibes and thought we’d take a look at beach blogs this week. Do you have a blog that deserves recognition? Tweet our writers at @BeyondBylines.

I just spent a week on the beach — in Corolla, N.C.

I love spending time on the beach.

The waves rolling in, salty air, and sunshine make me feel at peace.

Here are a few beach blogs we love.

1. Salt in our Hair

Nick and Hannah, who call The Netherlands home, have a passion for travel and photography. They set out to show people the world beyond their 9-5 job.

I recommend reading Surf and Chill at the Beaches of this Beautiful Island, The Netherlands, How to Spend a Barcelona City Trip (3 days), and Staying in the most beautiful area of Mauritius.

At 26, Kate quit her job to travel the world alone and become a travel blogger.

Solo Female Travel in Lebanon: Is it Safe?, A Weekend at the Wylder Hotel in Tilghman Island, Maryland, and 13 Reasons to Fall in Love with Costa Brava, Spain are all great posts.

Eugene Tan combined his love of photography, surfing, and the web to create Aquabumps in 1999. The site now consists of a team, who are based mainly in Bondi Beach, near Sydney, Australia.
