Blogger Conferences: Top Events to Attend in 2019

We’re wrapping this year with TECHmunch LA and looking ahead to what should be on your calendar for 2019. While not all conferences have finished nailing down logistics, here’s what we’ve got cooking so far.

Dec. 7: TECHmunch LA
TECHmunch returns to Los Angeles to bring content creators (food bloggers, culinary influencers, culinary brands, etc.) up-to-speed on the latest tools for creating great content. It will be a full day of networking, educational sessions, tastings and demos — all designed to help you to take your content creation, monetization and influencer marketing to the next level. The meeting takes place at Annenberg Beach House in Santa Monica.
Jan. 24-25: BlogHer Health
Tickets are on sale now for BlogHer Health in Los Angeles. BlogHer Health is a day and a half of health and wellness-focused programming and experiences. The conference will include brand activations, networking opportunities, next-level learnings in digital content creation and marketing, and inspirational keynotes. Among the keynote speakers is actress and activist Alyssa Milano. The conference takes place at Hudson Loft in Los Angeles.
Feb. 21-23: Dad 2.0 Summit
The Dad 2.0 Summit is an open conversation about the commercial power of dads online, and an opportunity to learn the tools and tactics used by influential bloggers to create high-quality content, build personal brands, and develop business ideas. Attendees include online dad influencers (bloggers, YouTubers, podcasters, Twitter and Insta stars), dad entrepreneurs and business owners, men’s media, commercial creators (authors, filmmakers, producers and publishers), and brand marketers who target dads and families. The event takes place at The Westin Riverwalk in San Antonio.
March 8-17: SXSW 2019
South by Southwest is a conference icon. We’re talking 10 days of discovery, learning, and networking with creatives across the interactive, film, and music industries. 2019 SXSW Registration and Housing is now open. The conference takes place in Austin, Texas.
March 20-22: Social Media Marketing World
Social Media Marketing World is hosted by Social Media Examiner, a leading online social media magazine for businesses. The event is designed to inspire and empower marketers with social media marketing ideas. The conference takes place at the San Diego Convention Center.
April 24-26: Mom 2.0 Summit
Mom 2.0 is a gathering of influencers and leaders who create content online and on air in parenting, entertainment, food, politics, business, marketing, technology, social change, travel and design. The event takes place in Austin, Texas. Get on the waitlist here.
May 2-4: Everything Food Conference
Everything Food Conference is among the most anticipated events for online content creators, bloggers, and influencers. The conference features impactful presentations and networking opportunities with partners and brands. The event takes place in Layton, Utah at the Davis Conference Center and Hilton Garden Inn.
May 4: Blogger Week UnConference
Blogger Week 2019 is a multicultural festival of bloggers, journalists, and social media mavens hosted by Black Bloggers Connect. Blogger Week features several days of workshops, panels, and networking events across the country. It also includes one day of the official Blogger Week UnConference to be held in Washington, DC.
June 1-2: BookCon 2019
BookCon is the event where storytelling and pop culture collide. It’s an event by ReedPOP, which also runs BookExpo, New York Comic Con, Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo, Emerald City Comicon, Star Wars Celebration, Penny Arcade Expo and more. BookCon is held at the Javits Center in Midtown Manhattan.
June 20-23: International Food Blogger Conference
The International Food Blogger Conference will draw about 200 food bloggers, writers, social media gurus, food industry members, and others for four days of content, excursions, fun, and food. 2019 marks the organization’s 11th year of operation. The event takes place in Juneau, Alaska.
Oct. 3-5: ShiftCon 2019
ShiftCon is an eco-wellness influencer conference focusing on food, wellness, health, sustainability and platform growth. Shifters are part of an online influencer community that seek healthier and more sustainable lives, promote brands that mirror their values, and help causes that speak to their soul. The meeting takes place at the Grand Hyatt Atlanta in Buckhead.
