Worldwide Semiconductor Sales Decrease 12% to $412 Billion in 2019
The Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA) announced on Feb. 3 the global semiconductor industry sales were $412.1 billion in 2019, a decrease of 12.1% compared with the 2018 total. Global sales for the month of December 2019 reached $36.1 billion, a decline of 5.5% compared to the December 2018 total and 1.7% less than the total from November 2019.
Pete Rose Files Petition for Reinstatement to Major League Baseball
Today, representatives for Pete Rose submitted a petition for reinstatement to the Office of the Commissioner of Major League Baseball, with an addendum directed to the president of the National Baseball Hall of Fame. Rose requests to be reinstated to the game of baseball and considered for election to the Hall of Fame after 31 years on the permanently ineligible list.
