The world feels like a scary place right now.

COVID-19 cases are soaring and while summer lightens the mood a bit, it seems like we may be headed for an even rougher time in the coming months.

I don’t know about you, but I could use any calming tips and suggestions available to process everything that’s happening.

Read on for self-care blogs full of strategies and ideas.

1. The Blissful Mind

Blogger Catherine introduces herself with the following: “I’m a sarcastic old-soul with a soft spot for new notebooks, giant cups of tea, and the wise words of Leslie Knope.” I’m already hooked.

Wellness coach Catherine also follows Yoga With Adriene, who I’m also a big fan of.

I already feel like Catherine and I could be kindred spirits.

I recommend reading The Art of Finding and Using Your Voice; Digital Detox: What I’ve Learned From Unplugging Once A Week; and 10 Productivity Tips for Working From Home.

2. The Zen Teacher

High school English teacher and author Dan wrote “The Zen Teacher: Creating Focus, Simplicity, and Tranquility in the Classroom” and “Sanctuaries: Self-Care Secrets for Stressed Out Teachers.”

One post in particular applies to me. I have a habit of go, go, go until I settle down for the evening. I have a difficult time with the “off” button. On Doing Nothing gives me a lot to think about.
