Welcome to Blog Profiles! Each week, we select a topic and handful of blogs that do a great job contributing to the conversation. This week’s roundup features a few standout home decor blogs. Do you have a blog that deserves recognition? Tweet our writers at @BeyondBylines.

Decorating admittedly is not one of my strengths, so I’m always looking for inspiration.

And as fall ramps up, I’m craving a change-up around the house.

But with so many styles, stores, and DIY options, it can be tough making a decision.

Since there is a multitude of home decor blogs out there, I decided to narrow the field and pick a few of my favorites that provide budget friendly decorating ideas.

1. The Inspired Room

Written by Melissa Michaels, The Inspired Room offers great interior decorating inspiration while keeping budget in mind.

“I keep things very simple!” Michaels explains. “I’m DIY-challenged and always on a budget, so if I can figure out a way to [do] decorate or organize my home without a lot of time, stress or money, I will.”

2. Jennifer Rizzo

Jennifer Rizzo runs her lifestyle blog and retail store out of Lisle, IL, and focuses on handmade decor and ideas to personalize a space.

If you’re looking to refresh a room with plants, hand-paint a piece of wall art, or upcycle a piece of furniture, you’ll likely find inspiration here.

Run by sisters Elsie and Emma, A Beautiful Mess is a lifestyle blog that covers decor, DIY projects, food, style, and blogging.

The designs aren’t just #goals, they’re doable. Simply select the room you need ideas for, and A Beautiful Mess will provide you with plenty of inspiration.

4. A Cultivated Nest

A Cultivated Nest, started in 2007, is a budget-minded blog that offers ideas for decor, organizing/cleaning, DIY projects, and more.

Blog posts are written by a team of contributors, so you can find a variety of styles and viewpoints, but the goal is always the same. “My team and I write about ways you can save money,” says owner Manuela, “budget friendly organizing ideas, ways to manage your home more efficiently, easy decorating and craft projects, DIY beauty products, and recipes that are easy and budget friendly.”
