Psychology Blogs We Love - mediablog.prnewswire.com

The beginning of the year seems always to be flooded with new studies about how to stick with our resolutions, how to be happier, etc.

Since these reports and tips revolve around changing the way a person thinks and behaves, I thought it’d be a good time to review some top psychology blogs.

Psychology is a favorite topic of mine. Favorite enough that it was my second major in college.

These are a few blogs that stood out.

1. Verywell Mind

Verywell Mind is a consumer-friendly mental health and wellness site with a large selection of interesting posts on psychology, disorders, and self-improvement.

If you want to dig deeper, sister sites Verywell Health, Verywell Fit, and Verywell Family will have you covered.

I also would recommend scanning the Verywell Facebook page’s images for some great health and wellness-related infographics.

2. Psych Central | World of Psychology

World of Psychology is the main blog of Psych Central, an online resource for mental health. It’s been publishing since 2000, making World of Psychology the longest-running psychology and mental health blog on the internet.

Managed by Dr. John Grohol, the blog covers “psychology, human behavior, mental health and illness, and the intersection of technology with all of these things.”

With a large group of writers and contributors, there’s always something new to read.

I enjoyed reading 7 Tips to Stay Focused and Achieve Peace of Mind, Intention, Action and Accountability to Accomplish Your Goals, and A New Look at Grief Beyond Elisabeth Kubler-Ross’s Five Stages.

3. PsyBlog

PsyBlog is managed by Dr. Jeremy Dean, a British psychologist, and mainly focuses on recent scientific research about how the mind works.

The blog post archives are organized into handy categories like creativity, habits, learning, self-esteem, and parenting.

Posts generally are short and easy-to-read, which any non-expert like myself can appreciate.

4. Psychology Today

As the site explains, “Psychology Today is devoted exclusively to everybody’s favorite subject: Ourselves.”

The site for the popular print magazine includes blog posts from a team of psychologists, academics, psychiatrists, and writers.

Readers can search for posts based on news, “essential reads,” or trending topics, for example. With so many different topics, it’s easy to continue clicking to more articles.

That’s really useful blog list! Psychology is also a favorite topic of mine! It was my major subject in college. Currently, I am a freelance writer and I cover different mental diseases and psychological disorders. I have recently written an article on psychology – you can check it from this source with free examples on different topics. By the way, more research and studies are required to understand patient’s behavior and psychology. Thanks again for this informative blog list!

In order to attract the reader’s attention, you need to be a good psychologist. I was writing a paper on the relation between journalism and human behavior, and read a few interesting facts while was preparing for my task with https://writix.co.uk/ resource which makes the students’ lives much easier. All of us should study how to be constructive.
